Awards of Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships
The scholarship awards range from €2000 to €5000 and are applied as a reduction to the tuition fees for the first year of a full-time postgraduate program. It will be awarded for only one academic year.
Who can apply for Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships
The scholarships are open to applicants who have non-EU status and will be paying tuition fees at the non-EU rate.
How to Apply for Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships?
To apply for the Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships, the following steps should be taken:
- Email your application to your Regional Officer. To find out who your Regional Officer is, please check the “Contact Details” section on the Trinity College Dublin website by selecting your country of residence.
- Use the subject line: “Your Name, Trinity Application ID, and Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship”
- Include the following Scholarship Application Documents in your email:
- Trinity Offer Letter (Applicants must have received a conditional or firm offer of a place in a Trinity postgraduate course)
- 200-word statement on “How I will contribute to our Trinity College Dublin community” – submit in Microsoft Word or PDF format
- CV/Resume
- You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt of your scholarship request
- Your Regional Officer will inform you if you have been selected for a scholarship and will provide details on how to formally accept the scholarship.
- Applications received after 15th June 2023 will be assessed on a rolling basis based on budget availability.
Deadlines of Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships
The deadlines and announcements for the Global Excellence Postgraduate Scholarships are as follows:
1st Batch:
- Deadline: 1st March 2023
- Announcement: 1st April 2023
2nd Batch:
- Deadline: 1st May 2023
- Announcement: 1st June 2023
3rd Batch:
- Deadline: 15th June 2023
- Announcement: 1st July 2023
It is important to note that applications received after the 3rd batch deadline on 15th June 2023 will be assessed on a rolling basis depending on budget availability.
